We spent Sunday morning at the Children's Museum in Providence. The kids had a great time and loved the funky mirrors. 
They also have a great water table that the kids had a blast playing at. Even Benny got his hands wet.
I know what you're thinking...gross! But they were really good. My mother-in-law gave me a cookbook from her church and this was one of the recipes in it. It sounded so weird that I had to try it and they were actually really good. The kids loved them. Here's the recipe if you want to give it a try...Benny has double ear infections so this is what I've been listening to for the past two days...
Nora had her first ski trip this week. Jim took her night skiing after school this week. He said it was a little nerve racking at first. It seemed as if she always headed towards the woods and had a hard time staying on the trail. But by the end of the trip she was staying on track, doing turns, and was able to make it down the trail without falling. It's amazing how quickly kids pick things up!
I finally got around to making this laundry bag to take with us when we travel. I used to just take a garbage bag to separate the soiled laundry from the clean laundry but I think this will be better...
This is a recent watercolor I completed. All this snow and cold weather was making me think of springtime things...
