The bathroom was pretty hideous to start, very 70's, as you can see.

Jim started by taking down all the ugly blue tile and put up some bead board wainscoting.

There goes the tub.

Jim and the kids in part of the old Fort.
Newport Harbor
It was a beautiful day here on Sunday, actually got up in the mid 50's! The kids wanted to be outside but we still have almost a foot of snow on the grounds so we headed down to RI. We went to Fort Wetherill in Jamestown, RI. It had some beautiful views of Newport Harbor and the kids had a great time exploring. We went into the Fort a little bit but they were very dark and a little creepy so we spent most of our time on the cliffs enjoying the beautiful views...
I decided to treat myself this morning. We weren't in a rush to go anywhere so instead of the usual cup of coffee on the go, I made myself a cappuccino. It looked so good that I had to take a picture.
Can't believe that these will be in the ground (hopefully) in a few short (hopefully) months...
After almost three weeks of illness I think that we're all getting better. Thank goodness!! So Benny is up to his old tricks again, like putting things in the toilet, erasing messages on the answering machine, trying to climb into the dishwasher and a new trick...getting into the toy box.
